The Rosette Nebula is a large gaseous region in the constellation Monceros, east of Betelgeuse.   The image shown was taken on two consecutive nights of March 9 and 10 2005, and includes 4 hours of exposure time.  The wide field view provided by the William Optics Megrez 80 captures most of the massive nebula.  This is the first image produced by this telescope.
