NCG 6960
More commonly known as the
Veil Nebula. This image shows only a portion of the whole
nebula. Taken on Oct 29, 2004 using a Hydrogen Alpha filter
to bring out the faint gas more. This image is a combined
2.25 hours of exposure time using Joe's TeleVue NP-101, and a .67 focal
reducer for very wide field of view. These shots were taken with
a nearly full moon and some haze. Make sure you scroll down!
